- Requires a valid credit or debit card number. (Don’t have a credit card?)
- When you return your movie, your credit card will automatically be charged based
on the number of nights you had the movie checked out.
- If you do not want your credit card charged automatically, you will need to return
your movie in person and you may pay your rental charges with another method of payment.
the fine print, aka "the rules":
- A movie rental is $1.00 per night.
- You must provide a credit card. This insures that you will pay for your movies, as
rental charges will be calculated upon return. (Uncomfortable providing a credit
card?)
- Sales tax is not included. So one night rental is actually $1.08. Somebody has to
pay for the teachers and the roads.
- The definition of "one night" is from the time you check the movie out to 6:00pm
the following day, and an additional night is subsequently to 6:00pm the day after
that, and another night is until 6:00 pm the day after that, and so on. No grace
period, no snow days, no exceptions.
- So, if you don't want to pay for another night, even though it's only $1, you have
to have your movie returned by 6:00 pm.
- If you lose or destroy a movie, you'll have to buy it, for $20.00, plus tax. Be more
careful next time.
- If you keep the movie for 20 nights, you bought it, for $20.00, plus tax. Don't bother
bringing it back. If you make a habit of doing this, we'll have to fire you.
- The primary account holder is financially responsible for any movie checked out on
the account. So don't put any one else on your account if you don't want to pay for
their movies.
- If your credit card is declined we will try to contact you so you can take care of
any account balance.
- If your account balance goes unpaid for more than 60 days we reserve the right to
refer your account to a collection agency. In addition you will be responsible for
any interest charges, attorney’s fees, and court costs.
- You may check out a maximum of 10 movies at a time.
- It's your job to be sure we have your current address and phone number.
- We can change the rules without having to send you junk mail or email.
a note on credit card security...
- Louisa’s maintains current software and business practices as dictated by PCI Compliance

credit card is stored via our software, the actual card number is encrypted in such
a way that no one of our staff can see any information about the card, not even the
last four digits. The information is not retained on any of Louisa’s servers or computers.
